We Are Caring is a globally-leading social impact organisation focussed on ensuring the ethical recruitment of Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs), supported by the DBS Foundation. Using advanced smart technology through an online platform and supported by our incredibly passionate team, we have ambitious growth plans against our vision for a world with opportunities for all.

With more than 6 years of operations in Singapore, and having supported more than 5,000 clients and MDWs during this time, we have recently expanded our business. We are continuing to grow at a fast pace and eager to grow our team alongside this. Our team of over 20 employees globally is filled with passionate, collaborative and caring individuals, connected by our values, who are at the heart of our success.

An overview of the role:

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless operational running of our recruitment process between employers and MDWs. You will gain experience in customer service and projects, as well as obtaining skills in communication, empathy, stakeholder engagement and problem solving. Working as a team, you’ll experience the fast-paced life within a start-up and have a real impact on others.

No experience is necessary, as full training and mentoring will be provided alongside sponsorship of the Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI), but we are looking for individuals who are passionate about people and service, with exceptionally strong communication skills.

Why this internship will help you kickstart your career:

  • We fully pay the cost of the Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI)
  • We are a social impact and progressive start-up, using digital technologies applied and working with interesting clients (who you will be able to lead relationships with)
  • You will work as part of a multicultural team, where people and collaboration are at the core of our business
  • You will gain an increase in HR generalist knowledge, abilities and skills
  • You will gain and hone a number of key skills that will set you up for success in the working world, including communication, accountability, leadership and problem solving
  • We are passionate about our people and are growing fast, so permanent positions may be available after you complete your internship

More details:

  • 5 days per week, 9am-6pm (days to be agreed)
  • Please note that you will be expected to work either on a Saturday or Sunday each week, as our business runs Monday to Sunday
  • Salary: $1,200 per month
  • 6 month Internship offered

Benefits include:

  • 7 days annual leave during your Internship
  • Wellbeing grant…to support you in doing something that ‘fills your cup’
